Namaste-WHAT? A Nepali-American Variety Show
A high-energy, collaborative play that demonstrates the demands of being multi-lingual, the challenges of navigating between different cultures, and the celebrations of communication and its power.
Available immediately. Performances range from 15 to 60 minutes.
Rebranding the City: a Humanizing Tour of Akron
A series of theatrical vignettes shaped as a tour trying to convince people to come to (and stay in) Akron. The play is 75% based off of interviews with people from Akron's 24 neighborhoods and serves as a humorous (and sometimes serious), self-reflective look at where Akron came from, where it is now and where it plans to go all while giving a platform for the voices of its residents. Welcome to Akron, a place that many call home.
Available June - December 2018. Performances range from 15 to 60 minutes.
My North Hill
A tréteau or “platform” play that condenses the action to one small stage (4’ x 8’). The script was created from transcripts of four story circles conducted with the International Institute at the Exchange House designed to create conversation through sharing stories of personal experience in order to more effectively manage racial tension and celebrate ethnic diversity.
Available September 2018 - early 2019. Performance will be 20 to 30 minutes
